Striking a multicultural chord
The music industry in New Zealand is getting richer with diversity and talent. Two of the musicians vying to find a footing in the industry are Malaysian-Indian half-Pakeha twin sisters Shantini and Shalina Sandran.
With their passion and resilience, the sisters are all set to bust myths about the identity of their music and culture. The 22-year-old musician duo of Indian origin is producing music that is fresh and unique and has the feel of both their Indian and western roots.
