Panel discussion to engage migrant and ethnic women post COVID-19
Global Goals Institute is organising a panel discussion and online forum on “Ensuring full participation of migrant and ethnic women in post-COVID-19 responses and decision-making”.
This is a free event and is part of the virtual parallel event programme of the United Nations 65th Commission on the Status of Women (CSW65).
During this 60-minute panel exchange, followed by a 30-minute interactive text dialogue, the panellists from NGOs and private sectors as well as the government will focus on how migrant and ethnic women can be better supported to accelerate progress on gender inequality across the three SDGs of gender equality (SDG 5), decent work and economic growth (SDG 8), and reduced inequalities (SDG 10) in the New Zealand context.
Date: Tuesday, 23 March, 2021
Time: 11am-12:30pm
