MexFest 2017, held on October 28, at the ASB Showgrounds Pavillion 6, is the biggest Mexican Festival in Auckland. The event offers a taste of Mexican culture to all who are curious about it. Here is a smorgasbord of all that happened on the day.

An offering: It is customary to offer food to those who have left us for the heavenly abode.
Mexican energy: Food, drinks and tourism to Mexico were offered at the event.
Son Jarocho: Two dancers wearing traditional attire from Veracruz, performed this Mexican dance form.
Alebrijes: These are brightly coloured Mexican folk art sculptures of exotic creatures.
