CAB Nelson will hold a free session for newcomers on “Cultural Awareness and Connecting with Iwi”
The topics will cover:
- Developing awareness of local Iwi and their journeys to Nelson / Whakatu
- Developing understanding of Nelson / Whakatu earliest settlers
- Increasing knowledge of the Nelson Provincial Museum’s collection relating to early Nelson/Whakatu and New Zealand
- Personal stories from migrants and newcomers
