CAB Nelson will hold a free session for newcomers on “Cultural Awareness and Connecting with Iwi”

The topics will cover:

• Developing awareness of local Iwi and their journeys to Nelson / Whakatu
• Developing understanding of Nelson / Whakatu earliest settlers
• Increasing knowledge of the Nelson Provincial Museum’s collection relating to early Nelson/Whakatu and New Zealand
• Personal stories from migrants and newcomers
